The isyVmon web frontend is a pleasure to use. It offers you a comfortable way to access and configure all of Nagios 3 elements. But it also offers you some powerful bulk editing tools that enable you to assign predefined checks to a complete range of hosts in a group using only one central system. The very flexible and time saving configuration possibilities will help you  keep your IT's effort in change management minimal (e.g. replace plug-ins, customize checks or infrastructure design).

The very customizable isyVmon GUI is also the monitoring cockpit of your entire IT environment. This is where all of your availability and performance data converges. Using dashboards, trend graphs and statistical evaluations you can observe early changes, threshold violations and failures. It will not only help you identify which applications and processes are affected by problems but also help find the actual cause.

isyVmon's core task is to analyze plugin return values (e.g. as graphs or statistics) and to trigger reactions (such as notifications, escalations, etc.).

The plugins provide the real monitoring feedback power. Either by returning values locally or by being executed on remote systems using the NRPE (Nagios Remote Plugin Executor) and returning values over a secure SSL encrypted data stream.
