Starting with single system for stand alone use it scales even for distributed monitoring by means of core & satellite systems - growth in infrastructure included. You can choose between hardware and virtual appliances. In any case Vmware READY, of course!

*The exact number of hosts and services depends on kind of service checks, the check frequency and the amount of performance data. These recommendations are based on a monitoring environment with a typical mix of more and less complex service checks, an average check frequency of 5 minutes and the assumption about two-thirds of the service checks will be report performance data.
